Matesa Textile Corporation was founded in Maras in 1989. MATESA, which was built as a yarn company in the beginning, is one of the biggest and strongest textile companies of Europe by operating on 350.000 metre square open and 305.000 metre square closed area and owning 2 vertical integrations from yarn to ready-made garment at knitting and weaving sectors.

All the stages of production from yarn to fabric is materialized under its own roof. By that feature, our company intensifys high quality standards and provides a possibility of better service to our customers.

Yarn spinning, knitting and weaving mills, and at last knitting and weaving dyeing mills are activated as full integration within Matesa constitution.

During 2006 Matesa Denim Factory became one of the biggest denim factory in Turkey. The trousers plant, which was taken over at the end of 2006, is also the newest plant within Matesa constitution.

100% Cotton, Melange, Viscose, Polyester/Viscose, Cotton/Polyester, Acrylic/Cotton mixtured yarns can be produced in yarn spinning facility. Yarn spinning facility supplys all yarn requirements of knitting and weaving mills. By that feature, our company increases the standards of quality at the every stage of production and provides our customers the possibility of receiving the same quality for each order.

Many respected customers within either domestic market or foreign markets prefer Matesa quality. A significant part of the production within our firm is exported to European and Middle East countries.

Believing that, successful company must play an active role in the development of the society from which it springs, we have always been actively involved in the educational institutions and hospitals. We have made agreements with government-supported Public Education Foundations to arrange free professional courses. We offer jobs in our companies to those who are qualified during these courses.

The production is in accordance with the criteria of "Oeko-Tex Standard". All the chemical wastes are sent to recycling unit which is used for environment-friendly production as an embodiment of our commitment to protect the environment.

We take a great care for safety, health, and environmental issues of employees. Our company implements a series of procedures including metal and broken needle instructions. The machines in the plant are equipped with needle guards and eye shield to protect employees.

As an integrated facility, Matesa Textile has maintained a series of principles which are also well-observed by its people. With dynamic team of employees and client-oriented strategy, the company guarantees its quality, service, and value.

quality policy

The quality perception of the company has always been at upper levels. To assure quality in the final products, process control methods are used in every step of the production according to AQL standards. The measures taken for the final quality and products safety begins with the incoming goods control processes. Fabrics and accessories are controlled with the approved trim cards and samples before the production process.

Matesa Textile A.S has “ISO 9001:2000, OEKO-TEX, BELCORO and SANTEX Quality Standard Certificates for assuring the excellence in quality. Matesa with its over 3000 employees has the aim of high quality, fair pricing and fast service.

Yarn

Matesa owns 7 yarn spinning facilities including 4 Open End (OE) and 3 Ring Spun facilities. Matesa Textile makes cotton purchase selections from both Turkey and from world cotton markets. Cotton bales are carefully analyzed and sent to the yarn spinning facility.

There are total 12 128 rotors in our OE plants, and total of 67 872 spindles in our Ring plants.

Our OE factories have the capacity to produce 1400 tons of yarns, and also our Ring Spun plants have the capacity to produce 1200 tons of yarns per month. The range of our yarn production varies from NE 6/1 to Ne 100/1.

100% Cotton, Melange, Viscose, Polyester/Viscose, Cotton/Polyester, Acrylic/Cotton, blended yarns with lycra and slub yarns can be produced in yarn facilities. All yarn requirements of knitting, weaving and denim plants are provided by these facilities.

The compact yarn production has started in Matesa yarn spinning since 2007.

More than 135 tons of yarns twisting are done at the yarn twisting lines. Yarn twisting until 100/2, could be done at these lines.

Örgü
Knitting

More than 1000 tons of knitted fabric produced by total of 134 machines at a 2 knitting factories within Matesa constitution. Knitted fabric production can be done from 13 inch-wide to 36 inch-wide depending on their types.

In these plants, Single Jersey, Single Jersey with Lycra, Frenchterry, Three Thread, Frenchterry with Lycra, Three Thread with Lycra, Pique, Rib, Rib with Lycra, Transferable Ribanas, Waffle, Interlock, Thermal, Selanik and different weaves of knitting types could be produced depending on our customers’ requests.

Tube or open-wide productions are done in our knitting plant depending on our customers’ demand.

Örgü Boya
Knitted Dye House

The knitting department has a capacity of 700 tons per month and 90% of the production is operated by exporting and an exporter. We dispatch our shipments to our customers guaranteeing weight, width, shrinkage and colorfastness.

Dyeing, bleaching, washing, tubular printing, rotation printing, brushing, emerizing, sueding, calendar, mercerization processing are operated in our knitting dye house.

Örgü Konfeksiyon
Knitted Ready Made Garment

The production capacity of our ready made garment is 500,000 pieces per month and all of the production is operated only for the exporting.

In our knitting department, printing and embroidery processing can be carried out depending on the product on which will be worked.

All processing from yarn to fabric, from fabric to ready to wear and packaging stages are materialized under the guarantee of Matesa.
Pantolon
Weaving

The Matesa weaving department has 182 machines with a monthly production capacity of 1,500,000 meters. Yarns are made ready for weaving by 2 serial warp, 2 conical warps and 2 sizing machines at the weaving department.

Automatic drawing machines are used at the drawing department to attach the yarns which were curled by warping and sized, to weaving looms at the shortest time with no complications.

At the weaving department, two sample warping machine are available to be able to respond customers’ sample demands at a short time.

Cotton Twills, Ribs, Poplines, Sateen, Yarn Dyed, Polyester/Cotton, Polyester/Viscose and lycra fabrics are producing at the weaving department.

450,000 meters of corduroy fabric a month are produced by 2 corduroy machines at the weaving department. 8, 11 and 16 cord productions are done at the weaving section.

Dokuma
Weaving Dye House

The capacity of the production weaving dyeing facility is 1,800,000 meters. Reactive, Sulphur, Indanthrene, Fader Dyeing, Bleaching, Washing are made in progress at the Matesa Textile dye house.

Our weaving dye house department has the possibility of dyeing the fabric without the shade and lot difference by a high technology product of e-control machine with its constitution.

Many chemical finishing types can be applied at the fabric depending on our customers’ demand through our strong machine test track. Non-iron, Easy care, Water resistance, Fire resistance, Anti-bacterial and Crinkle finishing are only some of the examples of those chemical finishing types.

Required dyeing fiber and dyed yarns could be produced through fiber and yarn dyed plant which is under the same roof of weaving dyeing house. Yarn dyeing department supplies yarns to both weaving and knitting departments.

Matesa’s yarn dyeing facility has capacity of 90 tones per month, and 120 tones per month for fiber dyeing facility.

Dokuma Boya
Denim

The denim mill is equipped with latest technology to produce up to date fashionable rope-dyed denim fabric with special finishes. The capacity is 2.400.000 meters per month. The Matesa denim department has 160 weaving machines.

Denim
Denim & Sportswear Garment Plant

Denim & Sportswear Garment Plant, with its state of art facility and the machineries, manufactures denim and non-denim casual and high fashion casual garments for men and women. The garment plant has a capacity of 250.000 pieces sewing and washing per month. The operation is handled on 14.000 square meter closed area.

The plant is designed with in house laundry which has a capacity of 250.000 pieces per month. Washing department is equipped with cutting edge machinery which allows garments to have different and unique effects.
